Grassroots Spotlight: Sophie Stevens.

I’m Sophie Stevens from Monmouth in South Wales, and I love to line dance.

I’m a line dance instructor & choreographer, I teach line dancing in Lydbrook, Monmouth, Abergavenny & Llanfoist along with teaching FitSteps, FitSteps FAB & Zumba.

I’ve line danced since the age of 4- attending weekly classes, my Mum and Nan line danced back then too so they got me into it.

I continued line dancing with my Mum as a fun hobby for many years.

After studying Performing Arts at the University of Gloucestershire, I started my own business at the age of 20 years old offering FitSteps classes (ballroom & latin dance fitness) which progressed to then being a Zumba & FitSteps FAB Instructor.

When I turned 25 years old; I decided to start my own Line Dance classes and continued to choreograph my own line dances also.

Sophie has choreographed a number of Line Dances. Find out more about Sophies classes and dances.
